• 1. Will school feel different for my child day to day?

  Our goal is for school to feel as normal and familiar as possible. Classes, schedules, programs, and expectations will continue. While some locations may shift, students’ learning, relationships, routines, and daily rhythms will remain consistent.

• 2. Who is the general contractor for the Holiday Center construction project?

  Campbell Hall has partnered with C.W. Driver Companies as the general contractor for the Holiday Center construction. C.W. Driver brings extensive experience working on independent school campuses and will be working closely with Campbell Hall leadership to ensure a safe and well-coordinated construction process. C.W. Driver was selected for their strong track record on school and community-focused projects, their commitment to safety, and their experience managing construction on active campuses. Their team understands the importance of minimizing disruption to daily school life and partnering closely with school leadership throughout the process.

• 3. How will you keep students safe near construction?

  Student safety is our highest priority. All construction areas will be fully fenced with badge-controlled access. Construction zones will be clearly separated from student spaces, and protected pedestrian walkways will be marked throughout campus. There is daily coordination between the construction team and Campbell Hall security and operations staff.

• 4. Will construction workers be on campus with students?

  Construction personnel will remain inside fenced construction zones at all times unless advance communication is provided. All workers receive safety orientation and are required to wear identification badges.

• 5. Are all construction workers background checked?

  Yes. All jobsite personnel are required to complete live scan and background checks before being allowed on campus.

• 6. How will noise, dust, and debris be managed?

  The construction site will follow a clean-site policy every day. Dust will be minimized through regular spraying, debris will be removed daily, and housekeeping is a shared responsibility across the site. Higher-impact or noisier work will be scheduled outside of key school activities whenever possible.

• 7. Will drop-off, pick-up, or traffic patterns change?

  Traffic flow and parking are among families’ top concerns and are a critical planning focus. Drop-off and pick-up routines will remain safe and predictable, with clear separation from construction activity. Any changes will be communicated well in advance with maps and clear instructions.

• 8. What about parking?

  Parking will be available on the northwest corner of the athletic field. Valet parking services will continue, and student parking availability is expected to remain consistent. Parking plans will be refined and shared in advance of construction.

• 9. Will bus service continue?

  Yes. Bus pick-up and drop-off will continue on campus, with loading and unloading designed to avoid construction zones and to include additional safety parameters.

• 10. What are modular classrooms like?

  Modular classrooms are modern, climate-controlled learning spaces designed specifically for schools. They include natural light and instructional technology and, in many cases, offer layouts similar to or larger than existing classrooms.

• 11. Where will modular classrooms be located?

  Modular classrooms and facilities will be located on the baseball diamond and portions of the front field, keeping programs centrally located on campus and minimizing transitions.

• 12. Will students still have access to food services?

  Yes. The CH Café will temporarily relocate to History Row between the High School and Middle School. Students will continue to have access to hot meals, grab-and-go options, and streamlined checkout. Outdoor seating will be relocated.

• 13 .Will arts, athletics, and after-school programs continue?

  Yes. Arts, athletics, and after-school programs will continue throughout construction. Some practices or games may shift off campus, and families will receive advance notice of any location changes. Program offerings and team availability will remain consistent.

• 14. Will PE and recess still take place?

  Yes. Physical Education and recess will continue, using outdoor spaces whenever possible and indoor or modular spaces during inclement weather or extreme heat.

• 15. How will emergencies be handled during construction?

  A site-specific emergency response plan is being developed with the construction team and aligned with Campbell Hall’s existing safety protocols.

• 16. How will families stay informed?

  Families will receive regular updates via email and school communication channels. Updates will include construction progress, upcoming phases, traffic or parking changes, and any program adjustments.
